Welcome to FaceOn AI ("we", "our", "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user information, facial data, image processing, device data, and subscriptions.

Core Privacy Guarantee: FaceOn AI processes all facial analysis directly on your device. We do NOT collect, upload, store, or transmit your raw photos or facial biometric data to any external server or cloud service.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Facial Biometrics & Photos: When you take a photo or select an image from your gallery, all facial detection, geometric landmark calculations, and symmetry scoring are executed locally on your device via Google ML Kit / on-device machine learning. Your photos never leave your device.
  • Personal Identity Data: We do not ask for your real name, home address, contact phone number, or government-issued identification.

2. Information Processed Locally on Your Device

  • Scan History & Results: Analysis scores, symmetry reports, face shape metrics, progress tracking entries, and selected styles are stored exclusively in your local device storage (SQLite/SharedPreferences).
  • User Settings: Your theme preferences, gender/profile preferences, onboarding status, and app configuration settings remain on your device.

3. Third-Party Services & Technical Data Collection

To ensure app reliability, stability, and deliver premium services, we partner with trusted industry standard third-party service providers:

  • Google Play Services & Google Play In-App Billing: Handles secure payment processing for subscriptions and in-app purchases. We do not store or have access to your credit card numbers or banking information. Financial transactions are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google LLC): Collects anonymized diagnostic data, crash logs, device model, operating system version, and general app engagement statistics to help us fix crashes and improve app performance.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC): Allows us to send optional push notifications regarding updates, face routine reminders, or feature tips. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
  • Google ML Kit (On-Device): Used for offline, on-device facial landmark and feature detection without communicating face data over the internet.

4. Device Permissions

FaceOn AI may request the following permissions to function properly:

  • Camera Permission: Required only when you choose to capture a live photo for facial analysis inside the app.
  • Photos / Media / Storage Permission: Required when you choose to import an existing photo from your gallery or save an exported report/image to your device.
  • Notifications Permission: Optional; used to deliver reminders and relevant app updates.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time via your device's Operating System settings.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

If you choose to purchase FaceOn AI Pro, billing is processed entirely by Google Play. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions anytime directly within Google Play Store > Subscriptions.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your scan history and results are stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:

  • You can delete individual scans or clear history directly within the app's History/Settings screen.
  • Uninstalling the app or clearing the app data via your device settings permanently removes all local analysis records and stored photos.

7. Children's Privacy

FaceOn AI is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take appropriate measures to address it.

8. Security

We prioritize the security of your information. By designing FaceOn AI with an offline-first, on-device processing architecture, the risk of external data interception or server-side data leaks is minimized.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.
