These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase, download, installation, access, and use of IMG Compressor Pro ("the Application"), developed and distributed by independent developer Yash Rayjada ("the Developer"). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase, install, or use the Application.
1. Premium License Grant & Microsoft Store Purchase
IMG Compressor Pro is distributed as a paid premium application available through direct purchase on the official Microsoft Store (Product ID: 9NKGP4TV96XM).
- Upon completing a valid upfront purchase through the Microsoft Store, the Developer grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to download, install, and execute the Application on compatible Windows desktop personal computers or workstations linked to your Microsoft account.
- Your license is subject to the standard usage rules and device limitations established by Microsoft for Microsoft Store applications.
- The purchase grants you full, lifetime access to the offline bulk image compression features without requiring recurring subscriptions, tokens, or in-app upgrade unlocks.
2. Payments, Billing & Refunds
- Microsoft Store Billing: All financial transactions, billing, tax calculation, payment methods, and receipt issuance are handled directly and exclusively by Microsoft Corporation under the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale.
- Refund Policy: Because all transactions are processed through Microsoft, refund requests, cancellations, and billing inquiries must be submitted directly through your Microsoft account order history in accordance with Microsoft's refund policies. The Developer does not collect your payment information and cannot directly process monetary refunds.
3. Permitted and Lawful Use
You agree to use IMG Compressor Pro solely for lawful purposes. You may use the Application to optimize, resize, convert, and compress image files (such as JPG, PNG, WEBP) that you own or have obtained legal authorization and rights to process.
You agree not to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application, except where permitted by mandatory applicable law.
- Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or resell the Application binary or installer packages without express written permission from the Developer.
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Application or its components.
- Circumvent or disable any licensing verification or security features implemented by the platform.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
The Application, including its graphical user interface, brand identity, layout, logos, visual assets, software architecture, and compiled binary code, is the exclusive intellectual property of Yash Rayjada and is protected under national and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
5. Image Ownership & Local Processing Guarantee
You retain full and exclusive ownership, copyright, and title to all image files, photographs, graphics, and visual media processed using the Application.
IMG Compressor Pro operates 100% locally on your machine. The Developer does not access, copy, claim ownership of, or store any of your images or image contents on any remote servers.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")
While the Application uses safe, non-destructive file writing and standards-compliant image optimization techniques, compression ratios and visual fidelity depend on the input images and selected compression quality. You are strongly advised to keep independent backup copies of your original images before batch processing.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Yash Rayjada be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or corruption of files) arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the Application.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Application shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Gujarat, India.
9. Modifications to Terms
The Developer reserves the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted at this location with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Application after such modifications constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
