1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Mahagatha mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the App.

2. Description of Service & Content Hosting Limitation

Mahagatha is a devotional show and movie streaming aggregator. We provide a convenient index and player interface for users to discover and access publicly available spiritual broadcasts, mythological serials, devotional songs, and live streams.

CRITICAL CLARIFICATION: We DO NOT host, upload, store, copy, download, modify, or distribute any video or audio files on our servers. All videos shown through the App are streamed directly from official, publicly available source servers maintained by the respective publishers or content platforms.

3. Integration of YouTube API Services & Third-Party Platforms

To deliver seamless playback, the App streams content utilizing official developer interfaces, including the YouTube IFrame Player API. Your interaction with these embedded video players is subject to the following rules:

• YouTube Terms: By playing YouTube-hosted videos inside the App, you agree to be bound by the official YouTube Terms of Service.
• Google Privacy Policy: Data sharing that occurs during YouTube playback is managed under the Google Privacy Policy.
• Third-Party Redirection: For specific media listings, the App may redirect you to official external platforms, such as JioHotstar, Disney+ Hotstar, or other verified broadcasters. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, changes in their subscriptions, or the contents of their platforms. You must comply with their respective terms of service when redirected.

4. Intellectual Property & Copyright Ownership

All copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights in the streamed videos, audio, series names, cover arts, and broadcast feeds belong solely to the original content creators, publishers, or licensing platforms (e.g., YouTube creators, official production houses, or broadcast channels).

Unless explicitly stated, Mahagatha does not own, claim rights to, or issue licenses for any streamed videos. The App’s interface layouts, software code, brand name, and assets remain the exclusive property of the developer.

5. Copyright Infringement Complaints

We respect the intellectual property of creators. Since all videos played in our App are hosted externally, any requests to delete the actual files must be sent directly to the respective host platforms (such as YouTube, which handles copyright claims via its automated DMCA procedures).

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content cataloged or indexed inside the Mahagatha App infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a request for removal of the index listing by emailing us at the address provided in Section 12. Upon receipt of a valid removal request, we will promptly evaluate and remove the indexing links from our App directory.

6. Permitted Use & User Obligations

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

• Use the App in any manner that could disable, damage, overburden, or impair the App or interfere with any other party's use of the App.
• Attempt to extract the source code, bypass playback controls, download video streams, or modify video elements.
• Violate any third-party developer policies or terms of service linked to the streaming players.

7. Content Availability & Right to Modify

Because the App acts as a directory pointing to external video streams:

• We make no guarantees that all listed shows, movies, or live channels will remain online or accessible. Content may become unavailable due to licensing shifts, geo-blocking, platform updates, or deletion by the original publishers.
• We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, remove, or restrict search access to any media directories or links at any time without prior notice or liability.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIM AND NEGATE ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE APP IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, DIRECTORS, OR PARTNERS OF MAHAGATHA BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT, OR DUE TO BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED ORALLY OR IN WRITING OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service and any dispute arising from your use of the App shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to, or use of, the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise, amend, or update these Terms of Service at any time. When we make updates, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
