This Privacy Policy explains how our application collects, uses, handles, and protects your information across supported operating platforms, including Android and Windows.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect (Your Document Data)

Because OnlyPDF operates as an offline utility, we do not collect, process, host, or transfer:

• The contents, text, images, or metadata of the PDF files you view, edit, or process.
• Your electronic signatures created using the signature tool.
• Images, scanned documents, OCR text, or QR codes generated or imported into the app.
• File names, file paths, or directory contents on your local device.

2. Information We Collect Automatically (Diagnostics & Analytics)

To ensure application stability, diagnose crashes, and improve performance, OnlyPDF may collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic and telemetry data through standard industry tools (such as Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, where platform-enabled):

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version (Android version, Windows OS build), system architecture, language settings, and screen resolution.
• Crash & Performance Reports: Stack traces, application state at the time of an unhandled exception, memory status, and error logs (collected via Firebase Crashlytics) to help fix bugs.
• Anonymous Usage Metrics: Aggregated feature interactions (such as tool usage counts, screen views, and app launch frequency) without any link to personal identity or document contents.

3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

OnlyPDF requests only the permissions necessary to deliver document management features on your device:

On Android Devices:

• Storage / Media Access (e.g., READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_DOCUMENTS, or system file picker): Required solely to allow you to select local files, save converted PDFs, and export processed documents.
• Camera Permission (Optional): If you use the camera scanner / QR scanner feature, camera access is used strictly in real-time on the device to capture documents or scan codes. No camera stream or image is transmitted over the internet.
• Internet Access: Used exclusively for anonymous crash reporting, telemetry, verifying app updates, and loading legal documents or store interfaces.

On Windows Devices:

• File System Access (via System Pickers & User-Selected Folders): OnlyPDF interacts only with files and folders explicitly selected or configured by you (such as your default Documents folder or custom save directories).
• Internet Capability (internetClient): Used for checking store license status, error logging, and accessing support/legal web links.

4. In-App Purchases, Licensing & Payment Data

OnlyPDF offers optional PRO / Premium features through in-app purchases. All monetary transactions, payment processing, billing, and subscription management are handled directly by official platform storefronts (such as the Microsoft Store on Windows or Google Play Store on Android).

We do not collect, view, or store your credit card details, banking credentials, or billing addresses. We only receive cryptographically signed receipts or transaction status confirmations from the store platform to unlock your premium features.

5. Local Storage & Preferences

OnlyPDF uses local device storage (such as shared_preferences and local app caches) to save:

• Your chosen app settings (e.g., dark/light theme, accent color, default save directory).
• Recent file shortcuts (stored locally on your device for quick access, which you can clear at any time via Settings > Privacy & Performance > Clear All Local Cache & History).
• License verification tokens received from the platform store.

6. Third-Party Services

We partner with trusted third-party service providers to facilitate app reliability:

• Google Firebase (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics): Used for crash diagnostics and aggregated usage analytics. You can view Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Store APIs): Used on Windows for licensing and in-app purchases. https://privacy.microsoft.com/.
• Google Play Services: Used on Android for distribution and licensing.

These third parties process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies and applicable data protection regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA).

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not store your personal documents or account data on remote servers, there is no remote document data to retain or delete. You have complete control over all local data:

• You can clear recent file history and cached application data at any time from within the app settings.
• Uninstalling OnlyPDF removes all application cache files and local settings managed by the app.

8. Children's Privacy

OnlyPDF does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). Because our application is an offline utility that does not require user registration or profile creation, it does not target or collect personal data from children.
