1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Developer Yash Rayjada ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your installation, access, and use of the Resume Pilot desktop application for Windows, associated software components, templates, and documentation (collectively, the "Application").
By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Resume Pilot AI from the Microsoft Store or any authorized distribution channel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our companion Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.
2. Description of Service & Offline Architecture
Resume Pilot AI is an offline-capable Windows 10/11 desktop application designed to provide Applicant Tracking System (ATS) evaluation, candidate resume scoring, keyword extraction, formatting audits, and career optimization features.
Standalone Execution: The core features of Resume Pilot AI operate on your local hardware without requiring perpetual connectivity or cloud processing. All resume document parsing, keyword matching, formatting audits, SQLite caching, and export generation execute locally on your personal computer.
3. Software License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees via the Microsoft Store, YBR Digital grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run Resume Pilot AI on compatible Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices linked to your Microsoft account, strictly in accordance with Microsoft Store Standard Usage Rules.
License Restrictions
You agree not to, and will not permit any third party to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application, except to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based upon the Application or its proprietary ATS scoring logic.
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Application as a hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) or bureau service without our express written consent.
- Bypass, disable, or tamper with any digital rights management (DRM), licensing checks, or Microsoft Store security protocols built into the software.
4. Free Tier & Pro Subscription Tiers
Resume Pilot AI is offered in both Free and Pro subscription licensing tiers:

5. Billing, Free Trials, and Cancellation via Microsoft Store
All purchases, subscriptions, currency exchanges, and cancellations are fulfilled and managed through the Microsoft Store (Store Product ID: 9PPCTK0TXQPF).
- Trial Period: If you activate an Annual Pro Subscription with a 7-day free trial, you will enjoy full Pro access during the trial period. Unless canceled before the trial concludes, Microsoft will automatically bill the annual subscription fee to your designated payment method.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless auto-renew is disabled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Managing & Canceling: You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Windows Microsoft Account dashboard at https://account.microsoft.com/services or inside Windows Store settings.
- Refund Policy: Because all transactions are executed by Microsoft Corporation, refund requests must be submitted directly through Microsoft Support and are subject to Microsoft Store refund policies.
6. Intellectual Property Rights & User Content Ownership
Your Content: You retain complete, unrestricted ownership of all resumes, CVs, job listings, notes, and professional credentials that you import or generate within Resume Pilot AI. Because all operations are offline and on-device, YBR Digital does not acquire any intellectual property rights or ownership interest in your candidate documents.
Our Intellectual Property: The Application name, logos, UI designs, icons, scoring heuristics, 150-rule ATS engine, custom algorithm formulas, and proprietary source code are the sole property of YBR Digital and Yash Rayjada, protected by copyright, trademark, and international intellectual property treaties.
7. Disclaimer of Professional Advice & Hiring Guarantees
No Employment Guarantee: Resume Pilot AI provides automated statistical feedback, structural audits, and algorithmic analysis based on industry-standard ATS parsing criteria. We do not guarantee job offers, interviews, hiring decisions, or specific recruiter outcomes. Modern hiring decisions involve human discretion and differing vendor parsing engines outside our control.
The Application's outputs, scores, and recommendations are provided for informational and educational enhancement purposes only and should not be construed as legal, human resources, or career employment guarantees.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RESUME PILOT AI IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, COMPLETELY ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY FUTURE OPERATING SYSTEM UPDATE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL YBR DIGITAL, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, SYSTEM DOWNTIME, LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF RESUME PILOT AI SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE APPLICATION DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
10. Export Controls & Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, export regulations, and sanctions governing the use, download, and distribution of cryptographic software and technical data.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without giving effect to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Application shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Gujarat, India, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
12. Termination
These Terms remain effective until terminated by you or YBR Digital. Your rights under this license terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies from your devices.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms at our discretion. Any revisions will take effect upon publication in an updated release of the Application or on our official website. Your continued use of the Application after revised Terms are posted signifies your binding acceptance of those changes.
