Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 10, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to VozoQR ("we," "us," "our," or the "Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains how YBR Digital, operated by Yash Rayjada, collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the VozoQR mobile application (the "App"), available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

By downloading, installing, or using VozoQR, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms outlined herein, please do not access or use the App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled responsibly. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information.

2. Definitions

  • "App" refers to the VozoQR mobile application.
  • "User" or "You" refers to any individual who downloads, installs, or uses the App.
  • "Personal Data" means any information that can be used to identify an individual, directly or indirectly.
  • "Device" refers to the mobile phone, tablet, or other electronic device used to access the App.
  • "Service" refers to the functionality provided by the App, including QR code and barcode scanning, code generation, scan history management, and related features.
  • "Third-Party Services" refers to external services integrated with or accessed through the App, such as Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, and Google Play Services.
  • "Local Storage" refers to data stored exclusively on your device, including the SQLite database and SharedPreferences.

3. Information We Collect

VozoQR is designed with a privacy-first approach. The App does not require you to create an account, does not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information directly, and does not store your data on any external server controlled by the Developer.

3.1 Information You Provide

VozoQR does not require registration or the creation of a user account. The App does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address through any input fields or forms within the App.

When you use the QR code generator feature to create QR codes (for example, for links, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS messages, WhatsApp messages, Zoom meetings, events, locations, PayPal transactions, Bitcoin addresses, or UPI payments), the data you enter is used solely on your device to generate the QR code image. This data is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party server by the App itself.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

Certain information may be collected automatically when you use the App through integrated third-party services. This includes:

  • Analytics Data: Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data such as screen views, feature usage events (e.g., scan success events, QR code creation events, UI interaction events), app start events, session duration, and general engagement metrics. This data is collected in aggregate form and is used to understand how the App is used and to improve the user experience.
  • Advertising Data: Google AdMob may collect device-level information, advertising identifiers, IP address, and general location data to serve advertisements. This collection is governed by Google's own privacy policies.
  • Subscription Data: RevenueCat processes subscription-related information to manage premium subscriptions, including purchase tokens, subscription status, and transaction identifiers. RevenueCat does not share your payment card details with the Developer.

3.3 Device Information

Through the third-party services described above, certain device-level information may be collected automatically, including but not limited to:

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system and version
  • Unique device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID)
  • Language and locale settings
  • App version
  • Screen resolution
  • General geographic region (derived from IP address)

This information is collected by Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob, not by the Developer directly, and is subject to Google's privacy policies.

4. Permissions

VozoQR requests certain device permissions to provide its core functionality. The following table details each permission and its purpose:

Permission Purpose
Camera Required to scan QR codes and barcodes using your device's camera in real time. The camera feed is processed entirely on-device using Google ML Kit. No camera images or video are transmitted to any server.
Internet Required for displaying advertisements (Google AdMob), sending anonymous analytics data (Firebase Analytics), verifying subscription status (RevenueCat), checking for app updates, and loading the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages within the App.
Vibrate Used to provide haptic feedback upon successful code scanning, if enabled in Settings.
Wi-Fi State / Change Wi-Fi State Used to allow automatic connection to Wi-Fi networks when a Wi-Fi QR code is scanned and the user chooses to connect.
Billing Required by Google Play Billing to process in-app subscription purchases for premium features.

VozoQR does not request notification permissions, storage permissions, or location permissions.

5. QR Code and Barcode Data

5.1 Scanned Data

All QR code and barcode scanning is performed entirely on your device using Google ML Kit's barcode detection library. No scanned content, images, or camera frames are transmitted to any external server by the App.

When you scan a QR code or barcode, the decoded content (such as a URL, text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact information, or other encoded data) is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database as part of your scan history. This data remains exclusively on your device and is never uploaded to the Developer's servers or any third-party cloud storage.

5.2 Generated QR Codes

QR codes and barcodes that you generate within the App are created entirely on your device. The content you enter and the resulting code images are not transmitted to any server.

When you save or share a generated QR code or barcode image (in PNG or SVG format), the export or share operation is performed using your device's native sharing and file system capabilities. The Developer does not receive or store any of this data.

5.3 Scan History

Your scan history, including scanned content, format, timestamp, category, notes, tags, and favorite status, is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. You have full control over this data:

  • You can view, search, filter, and sort your scan history within the App.
  • You can delete individual scan history items or clear all history at any time from the Settings screen.
  • You can export your scan history to CSV, Excel, or JSON format (available to premium subscribers).
  • You can import scan history from a JSON backup file (available to premium subscribers).

Your scan history is never synchronized to any cloud service, external server, or third-party platform by the App.

6. Clipboard Usage

VozoQR may interact with your device clipboard in the following scenarios:

  • Auto Copy: If the "Auto Copy" feature is enabled in Settings (a premium feature), the content of a successfully scanned QR code or barcode is automatically copied to your device clipboard.
  • Manual Copy: You can manually copy scanned content, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, and other parsed information to your clipboard by tapping "Copy" buttons within the App's detail screens.

Clipboard data remains on your device and is managed by your operating system. The App does not read from or monitor your clipboard except when you explicitly initiate a copy action.

7. Local Storage

VozoQR uses the following local storage mechanisms on your device:

  • SQLite Database: Stores your scan history (content, format, timestamp, category, favorite status, notes, tags, folder assignments) and favorite folder configurations. This database resides exclusively on your device.
  • SharedPreferences: Stores your app preferences and settings, including theme mode, accent color, scanner controls (sound, vibration, auto-copy, auto-open links, default camera, auto-flash, keep screen on), history limit, premium subscription status, and internal flags (such as terms acceptance and auto-restore state).
  • Temporary Cache: Generated QR code and barcode images may be temporarily cached in your device's temporary directory for sharing or saving purposes. These temporary files are managed by the operating system and may be cleared automatically.

None of this locally stored data is transmitted to the Developer or any third-party server by the App.

8. Analytics

VozoQR uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data. This helps us understand how users interact with the App and identify areas for improvement.

The types of analytics events collected include:

  • Screen views and navigation patterns
  • Scan success events (recording the barcode format and content category, but not the actual scanned content)
  • QR code creation events (recording the type and mode, but not the actual content entered)
  • Code export and share events (recording the format type and whether it was a share action)
  • Premium upgrade events
  • App start events (recording premium status, theme mode, and theme color)
  • UI interaction events (recording which buttons and controls are tapped)

Firebase Analytics does not collect the actual content of your scanned codes, the text you enter into the QR code generator, or any personally identifiable information through these events.

Firebase Analytics may collect device-level identifiers and other technical data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how Google collects and processes data at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

VozoQR does not use Firebase Crashlytics or any other crash reporting service.

9. Advertising

VozoQR displays advertisements to users who have not subscribed to a premium plan. Advertisements are served through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google.

9.1 Types of Advertisements

The App may display the following ad formats:

  • App Open Ads: Displayed when the App is brought to the foreground from the background.
  • Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads displayed at natural transition points during app usage, subject to frequency controls and cooldown periods.
  • Native Ads: Ads integrated into the layout of the Settings, Creator, History, and Home screens in a format consistent with the App's design.

9.2 Data Collected by AdMob

Google AdMob may collect and process information about your device and usage to serve advertisements. This may include:

  • Advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID)
  • IP address
  • Device information (model, operating system, screen size)
  • General geographic location (derived from IP address)
  • App usage data and interaction with advertisements

This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The Developer does not have direct access to the personal data collected by Google AdMob. For more information about Google's advertising practices, please visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

9.3 Ad-Free Experience

Users who subscribe to VozoQR Premium will not be shown any advertisements. When a premium subscription is active, all ad units are removed from the App and ad-related resources are disposed of from memory.

10. Subscription and Purchase Information

VozoQR offers premium subscription plans managed through RevenueCat and processed via Google Play Billing (on Android) and the App Store (on iOS).

10.1 Information Processed by RevenueCat

RevenueCat acts as a subscription management platform and may process the following information:

  • Anonymous app user identifiers
  • Purchase and subscription transaction data (product identifiers, purchase dates, expiration dates, subscription status)
  • Entitlement status (whether the "premium" entitlement is active)
  • Platform identifiers (Google Play or App Store)

RevenueCat does not collect your payment card information, billing address, or other financial details. All payment processing is handled directly by Google Play or the Apple App Store.

For more information about RevenueCat's data practices, please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

10.2 Information Processed by Google Play Billing

When you purchase a subscription through Google Play, your payment information is handled entirely by Google. The Developer does not receive or store your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment instrument information. Google's handling of your payment data is subject to the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

11. Third-Party Services

VozoQR integrates the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it collects, uses, and protects data:

Service Provider Purpose Privacy Policy

QR codes and barcodes scanned through the App may contain links to external websites, apps, or services that are not operated by the Developer. If you follow a link to any external site, please be aware that those sites have their own privacy policies, and the Developer assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or security of those external sites.

The App may also contain links to the Google Play Store (for rating, updating, or viewing other apps by the Developer), and to the Developer's website.

13. Data Retention

Because VozoQR stores your data locally on your device and does not maintain any server-side databases containing user data, data retention is entirely within your control:

  • Scan History: Retained on your device until you manually delete individual items, clear all history, or uninstall the App. Free-tier users are limited to 20 scan history items; older items are automatically deleted when this limit is reached.
  • App Settings: Retained on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
  • Temporary Files: Generated image files cached for sharing purposes are stored in temporary directories and are periodically cleared by the operating system.

Data collected by third-party services (Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, RevenueCat) is retained according to the data retention policies of those respective services.

14. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Since all user-generated data (scan history, settings, generated codes) is stored locally on your device, the security of this data is primarily dependent on the security measures of your device and operating system.

We implement the following security considerations:

  • All data processing for scanning and code generation occurs on-device, minimizing exposure to network-based threats.
  • The App does not transmit scanned content, generated codes, or user settings to any external server.
  • Communications with third-party services (Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat) are conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
  • The SQLite database storing your scan history is accessible only to the App itself, protected by the operating system's app sandboxing mechanism.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. User Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data within VozoQR:

  • Access: You can view all your scan history and settings directly within the App at any time.
  • Deletion: You can delete individual scan history items, clear all history from the Settings screen, or uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data.
  • Export: Premium subscribers can export scan history data in CSV, Excel, or JSON format for personal use.
  • Modification: You can add notes and tags to scan history items, mark items as favorites, and organize them into folders.
  • Opt-Out of Ads: You can subscribe to VozoQR Premium to remove all advertisements from the App.
  • Advertising Preferences: You can manage your advertising preferences through your device's settings (e.g., resetting your Advertising ID or opting out of personalized ads at the device level).

16. GDPR Compliance (European Economic Area Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As the App does not directly collect personal data and does not maintain user accounts or server-side databases of personal information, most GDPR data subject rights are exercisable through the third-party services used by the App or through on-device controls.

Your GDPR rights include:

For data processed by Google (Firebase Analytics, AdMob) or RevenueCat, please contact those service providers directly regarding your GDPR rights.

17. CCPA Compliance (California Users)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). As the App does not sell personal information and does not directly collect personally identifiable information, the CCPA rights most relevant to you include:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to know what categories of information are collected. This Privacy Policy describes all data collection practices in detail.
  • Right to Delete: You can delete all locally stored data at any time through the App or by uninstalling it.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Google AdMob may use advertising identifiers for personalized advertising, which you can opt out of through your device settings.

18. Children's Privacy

VozoQR is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require account creation or the submission of personal information.

Google AdMob advertisements displayed in the App are not specifically targeted at children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App or its third-party services, please contact us at the email address below, and we will take steps to address the situation.

19. International Data Transfers

While VozoQR stores user data locally on your device, the third-party services integrated into the App (Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Google Play Billing) may transfer and process data on servers located in various countries, including the United States. These transfers are governed by the privacy policies and data protection mechanisms of the respective service providers, which may include Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, third-party services, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

21. Contact Information

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or the data practices of VozoQR, please contact us:

We will make reasonable efforts to respond to your inquiry within a reasonable timeframe.
