Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and YBR Digital, operated by Yash Rayjada ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the VozoQR mobile application ("App").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under the age of 18 (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements stated herein and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Description of Services

VozoQR is a mobile application designed to scan, decode, generate, and manage QR codes and barcodes. The App provides the following core services:

3.1 QR Code and Barcode Scanner

The App enables you to scan QR codes and barcodes using your device's camera in real time. Scanning is powered by on-device machine learning (Google ML Kit) and does not require an active internet connection for the scanning process itself. The App supports the following scan modes:

• Single Scan Mode: Scans one code at a time and navigates to the details screen upon successful detection.
• Batch Scan Mode: Allows continuous scanning of multiple codes in succession without navigating away from the scanner (available to premium subscribers).
• Image File Scan: Allows you to select an image from your device's gallery and scan it for QR codes or barcodes.

The App automatically categorizes scanned content into types such as URL, Wi-Fi, Contact (vCard), Phone, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, UPI, Location, Cryptocurrency, Product, ISBN, and plain text.

3.2 QR Code Generator

The App allows you to create custom QR codes for the following data types:

The App also supports barcode generation in standard formats including Code 128, EAN-13, Code 39, and others.

3.3 QR Code Customization

Premium subscribers can customize the appearance of generated QR codes, including:

• Foreground and background colors
• Eye shape (square or circular)
• Data module shape (square or circular)
• Gradient effects
• Custom center logo
• Adjustable margins

3.4 Scan History and Favorites

The App maintains a local scan history stored on your device, including scanned content, format, timestamp, category, notes, tags, and favorite status. You can organize favorite items into custom folders. Free-tier users are limited to 20 scan history items; premium subscribers have unlimited history storage.

3.5 Export and Share

The App provides the ability to:

• Share scanned content via the device's native share functionality.
• Save generated QR code and barcode images in PNG format.
• Export generated QR code images in SVG format (premium only).
• Export scan history to CSV, Excel, or JSON files (premium only).
• Import scan history from JSON backup files (premium only).

4. Premium Features and Subscription Plans

4.1 Premium Features

VozoQR offers a premium subscription ("VozoQR Premium") that unlocks additional features beyond the free tier. Premium features include:

• Removal of all advertisements (App Open, Interstitial, and Native ads)
• Dark mode and custom accent color themes
• Sound and vibration feedback controls
• Auto-copy scanned content to clipboard
• Auto-action / auto-open links after scanning
• Auto-flash toggle
• Batch scan mode
• Unlimited scan history (free tier: 20 items)
• Export scan history backups (CSV, Excel, JSON)
• Import scan history from JSON backups
• All advanced QR code types (E-mail, Location, Phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Zoom, Wi-Fi, vCard, Event, PayPal, Bitcoin, UPI)
• QR code customization (colors, shapes, gradients, logos)
• SVG export of generated QR codes

4.2 Subscription Plans

VozoQR Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription. The specific plans, pricing, and billing periods are displayed on the premium subscription screen within the App and are determined by the offerings configured through RevenueCat and the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

4.3 Auto-Renewing Subscription Terms

• Payment will be charged to your Google Play account (on Android) or Apple ID (on iOS) at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.4 Billing and Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed through Google Play Billing (on Android) or the Apple App Store (on iOS). The Developer uses RevenueCat as a subscription management platform to manage entitlements, track subscription status, and provide a consistent experience across platforms.

The Developer does not directly collect, process, or store your payment card information, bank account details, or other financial instrument data. All payment-related data is handled by Google, Apple, or their respective payment processors.

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your VozoQR Premium subscription at any time through:

• Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > VozoQR > Cancel subscription.
• iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > VozoQR > Cancel Subscription.

Upon cancellation, your premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the free tier, advertisements will be displayed, and premium features will be locked.

4.6 Refund Policy

Refund requests are subject to the refund policies of the platform through which the purchase was made:

• Google Play: You may request a refund through Google Play's refund process within the applicable refund window. Please refer to Google Play's Refund Policy.
• Apple App Store: You may request a refund through Apple's refund process. Please refer to Apple's Refund Policy.

The Developer does not process refunds directly. All refund decisions are made by Google or Apple at their discretion.

4.7 Restoring Purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore your premium subscription by tapping the "Restore Purchases" option on the Premium screen. On Android, the App also attempts to automatically restore purchases on the first launch after a fresh installation.

5. Free Features

VozoQR provides the following features at no cost:

• Single-mode QR code and barcode scanning via camera
• QR code and barcode scanning from gallery images
• Smart content detection and categorization
• Action buttons for URLs, phone calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp, UPI, and Wi-Fi connection
• Scan history (up to 20 items)
• Favorites and folder organization
• QR code generation for Link and Plain Text types
• Barcode generation
• Save generated codes as PNG images
• Share scanned content and generated codes
• Default camera selection (front/back)
• Keep screen on during scanning
• In-app content viewer via WebView
• App shortcuts (Quick Actions) for Scan, Create, and History

Free-tier users will see advertisements within the App, including app open, interstitial, and native ad formats.

6. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Not use the App to scan, create, or distribute QR codes or barcodes containing illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or offensive content.
• Verify the authenticity and safety of any content obtained through scanned QR codes or barcodes before acting upon it.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Not interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App, its servers, or any networks connected to the App.
• Not circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the App, including premium access controls.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. Acceptable uses include:

• Scanning QR codes and barcodes for personal or professional purposes.
• Generating QR codes for sharing contact information, links, Wi-Fi access, events, and other legitimate data.
• Managing and organizing your scan history and favorites.
• Exporting scan data for personal record-keeping or legitimate business use.

8. Prohibited Activities

You shall not engage in any of the following activities while using the App:

1. Using the App to generate QR codes that redirect to malicious, phishing, or fraudulent websites.
2. Using the App to facilitate identity theft, financial fraud, or any other criminal activity.
3. Distributing QR codes that contain malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
4. Using the App to infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
5. Attempting to gain unauthorized access to premium features without a valid subscription.
6. Using automated scripts, bots, or other tools to interact with the App in an unauthorized manner.
7. Reproducing, duplicating, selling, reselling, or otherwise exploiting the App or any portion thereof for commercial purposes without express written permission from the Developer.
8. Using the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any server or network connected to the App.
9. Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained within the App.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Ownership

The App, including its design, source code, graphics, user interface, features, functionality, and all related intellectual property, is owned by YBR Digital and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by the Developer.

9.2 License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App.
• Distribute, sublicense, lease, rent, or lend the App to any third party.
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the App.
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from the Developer.

9.3 User-Generated Content

QR codes and barcodes that you generate using the App are created from data you provide. You retain ownership of the underlying data and the resulting generated code images. The Developer does not claim any ownership over content you create using the App.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates and relies upon the following third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions:

The Developer is not responsible for the actions, content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of these services independently.

11. External Websites and Content

You acknowledge and agree that:

• QR codes and barcodes may contain content created by third parties that is beyond the control of the Developer.
• The Developer is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, safety, or appropriateness of any content embedded in QR codes or barcodes.
• You are solely responsible for verifying the authenticity and safety of any scanned content before interacting with it, including but not limited to visiting websites, making payments, connecting to Wi-Fi networks, or sharing personal information.
• The Developer does not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for any products, services, information, or content available through QR codes or barcodes scanned using the App.
• The App does not guarantee the accuracy, validity, or safety of any QR code or barcode content generated by third parties.

12. Accuracy Disclaimer

While the App strives to provide accurate scanning and code generation, the Developer does not guarantee:

• That the App will successfully scan every QR code or barcode, as scanning accuracy may be affected by image quality, lighting conditions, code damage, or device capabilities.
• That the content decoded from a QR code or barcode is accurate, complete, or up-to-date, as the content is determined by the original code creator.
• That generated QR codes or barcodes will be scannable by all third-party scanning applications or devices, as compatibility depends on adherence to encoding standards.
• That the categorization of scanned content (e.g., URL, Wi-Fi, contact) is always correct in every case.

13. Availability of Services

The Developer strives to ensure the App is available and functional at all times. However, the Developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App. The App may be subject to:

• Temporary unavailability due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
• Interruptions in third-party services (such as Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat, or Google Play Billing) that are beyond the Developer's control.
• Changes in functionality or features, which may be introduced through App updates.

The Developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice or liability.

14. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

• THE APP WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
• THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
• THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE APP WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
• ANY ERRORS IN THE APP WILL BE CORRECTED.

YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED FROM THE DEVELOPER OR THROUGH THE APP SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL YBR DIGITAL, ITS DEVELOPER, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Damages resulting from any content obtained through the scanning of QR codes or barcodes, including but not limited to exposure to malicious websites, phishing attempts, or fraudulent content.
• Damages arising from your interaction with external websites, services, or products discovered through scanned QR codes or barcodes.
• Damages resulting from the inability to use the App, the failure of the App to perform as expected, or any interruption in the availability of the App.
• Damages arising from the actions or inactions of third-party service providers integrated into the App.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO THE DEVELOPER FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR TEN US DOLLARS (USD $10.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN ITS ENTIRETY.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless YBR Digital, its developer, affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the App in violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Any content you create, generate, or distribute using the App.
• Any claim that content generated by you using the App caused damage to a third party.

17. Suspension or Termination

The Developer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App or any of its features if you violate these Terms or engage in any prohibited activities, without prior notice or liability.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data (scan history, settings, cached files) will be deleted. Your subscription, if any, must be cancelled separately through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

The following provisions shall survive termination of these Terms: Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 14 (Warranty Disclaimer), 15 (Limitation of Liability), 16 (Indemnification), and 19 (Governing Law).

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

Nothing in these Terms shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving the original intent of the provision.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding your use of the App. These Terms supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of these Terms.

21. Waiver

The failure of the Developer to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be effective only if in writing and signed by the Developer.

22. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We may also notify users of significant changes through the App or other appropriate means.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of the App.
